Who we are

Not an academy.
A club.

We are not selling a pathway to the professional game. Most of our players will never play at that level, and that has never been the point.

What we run is four evenings a week on a council ground off Stadium Road: proper coaching, proper fixtures, and a subs bill that families can actually absorb. Some of our players arrive at six and leave at nineteen. A handful come back at twenty-three to coach. That is the whole model.

Cricket

Season · April – September

Hard-ball cricket from U11 upward, with a soft-ball introductory group for the younger ones. Two turf strips, four artificial nets, and a bowling machine that has survived more than it should have. We field five sides in the district league and run an indoor programme through the winter.

Football

Season · September – May

Our biggest section by a distance. Small-sided games for the U8s and U10s, eleven-a-side from U13 up, and a girls' programme that has doubled in two seasons. Everyone gets minutes — we rotate squads rather than carrying a bench of spectators.

Taekwondo

All year · 3 gradings

WT-style taekwondo in the indoor hall, graded three times a year by an external panel so the belts mean something outside these walls. Poomsae and sparring streams run side by side — plenty of our students never compete and still grade all the way through.

From the touchline

My son was the kid nobody picked. Two seasons here and he is captaining the U13s. Nobody at this club ever made him feel like a spare part.

Ayesha R.Parent · Football U13

I came for fitness and stayed nine years. Graded to second dan last spring, and I now take the Friday beginners class myself.

Daniyal K.Student & assistant instructor

Other clubs quoted us three times the fee and wanted a trial first. Groundup just asked when she could start.
